When you close the street and everyone comes out and brings something fun to share, that’s all you need.
A Playground “Potluck!”
Each neighbor brings out their own play equipment, toys, grills, and furniture. Before you know it, the street has become a shared playground.
The streets in front of our homes are the public spaces most immediately available to us. They can become our shared living rooms whenever we want them to.
