How you activate a space depends on where it is. Each of these kinds of spaces have their own sets of constraints and possibilities:
Check out this online map showing open land owned by the City of Raleigh. Many are underused and have great potential for activation. A color-coded legend indicates which city departments maintain them. The red parcels are maintained by “PRCR,” or Parks, Recreation, and Cultural Resources.
